🧾 POS Flow (Point of Sale Ordering)

Perfect for cashier billing, waiter billing, counter billing, and quick dine-in ordering.


⭐ Detailed POS Flow for Website

1. Select Food Items

The cashier or waiter opens the POS screen and sees all menu categories such as:

  • Paneer Butter Masala

  • Veg Biryani

  • Masala Dosa

  • Idli Sambar

  • Chole Bhature

  • Tandoori Roti

  • Butter Naan

  • Dal Tadka
    …and more.

Each item shows:

  • Current Price

  • Discounted / Previous Price (if applicable)

Staff can click on items to add them to the bill instantly.


2. Review Selected Items

Selected items appear in the Ordered Foods panel.
Staff can:

  • Increase or decrease quantities

  • Remove items

  • View price breakdown

  • Use the built-in Calculator for quick adjustments


3. Enter Customer Details

Depending on the restaurant’s workflow, the staff enters:

  • Customer Phone (required – with country code)

  • Customer Name – appears after entering phone

  • Customer Email – optional fields appear after phone

This helps create customer history and store sessions.


4. Choose Serving Method

Staff selects serving type:

  • On Table (Dine-In)

  • Pickup

  • Delivery

This decides how the order flows inside the system.


5. Choose Payment Method

Payment method options may include:

  • Cash

  • Card

  • UPI / QR Scan

  • Wallet (if in Main Course Plan)

  • Online payment via gateway


6. Select Payment Status

Before confirming the order, staff selects:

  • Paid

  • Unpaid

  • Partially Paid

This helps in accounting and kitchen coordination.


7. Select Table Number (For Dine-In)

If the customer is dining in:

  • Staff selects Table No from a dropdown

  • POS links the order to the table session

  • Orders go to both the Waiter Panel and Kitchen Panel


8. Place Order

Cashier clicks "Place Order".
The system:

  • Creates the order

  • Generates bill/session

  • Sends it to the kitchen with all details

  • Logs it in Order Management immediately


9. Token Number (For On Table Orders)

After placing an order for On Table serving:

  • A Token No. Print option appears

  • Staff can print the token and give it to the customer

  • Helps in counter service or hybrid dine-in models


10. Order Sent to Kitchen

Kitchen receives:

  • Order items

  • Table number

  • Serving method

  • Session/customer details

  • Priority level

Staff can now track status as the kitchen updates it.
